FAQ
About shopping, shipping and selling your collection. Your question isn’t here? Write to us – we are happy to help.
Shopping in our shop
Are the items pictured exactly the ones I will receive?
For single items, yes – you receive exactly the item pictured. If we have an item in stock several times, the picture may show a sample; you will then receive an equivalent item in the described quality. If a particular detail matters to you, just ask us beforehand.
How do you describe condition and authenticity?
We state condition, special features and any existing certificates or expert opinions openly. Faults are mentioned in the description. If you have questions about an item, feel free to write to us beforehand.
What does “New – first in our shop” mean?
We offer new items from our purchases here in our shop first, before they also appear on eBay and Delcampe. New items are added every week – see the new arrivals.
What are the “Offer of the month” and the “Bargain corner”?
In the Offer of the month, selected items are cheaper in our shop for one month. In the Bargain corner you will find all individual items up to €2.50.
Are there discounts or vouchers?
We announce promotions and voucher codes in our newsletter. No additional voucher applies to items in the Offer of the month.
How do I find out about new items in my collecting area?
On every category page you can subscribe to the category at the top right – you will then receive an e-mail as soon as new items are listed there. We also have our newsletter.

Payment and shipping
How can I pay?
By bank transfer (prepayment) or PayPal.
When will my order be shipped, and what does shipping cost?
Usually within 3 working days of receiving payment. Within Germany, shipping is free from an order value of €50. For several items, we charge shipping only once. You will find all prices under Payment & shipping.
Do you also ship abroad or by registered mail?
Yes, we ship to the EU and worldwide. Registered mail is available on request – just ask us.
Can I return an item?
The statutory right of withdrawal applies (see right of withdrawal). And should we ever make a mistake, just get in touch – we will find an uncomplicated solution together.

Selling your collection
What do you buy?
Stamp collections and estates, covers and letters, picture postcards, valid mint never hinged postage stamps from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and gold and silver coins.
I have inherited a collection – what should I do?
It is best to leave the stamps in the albums and not to remove or sort anything yourself. Send us a few photos and a short description – we will tell you free of charge and without obligation how to proceed. More in our guide.
How does the purchase work?
Send us a short e-mail, ideally with photos – the first assessment is free of charge. We take a look at the collection and make you a clear offer. You decide in your own time – without obligation and without time pressure. Payment is made by bank transfer or in cash.
Do you also come to my home?
Yes, by arrangement we are happy to view larger collections and estates at your home – in Ulm/Neu-Ulm and throughout southern Germany. After consultation, you can also send us smaller holdings.
Can I visit you?
We are an online and mail-order business only, without shop premises. Personal appointments are possible by prior arrangement only – please contact us in advance by e-mail or phone.
What do you pay for valid postage stamps?
We buy mint never hinged stamps at fixed percentages of face value. You will find the current rates under Sell your collection.
