BUYING · LETTERS · PICTURE POSTCARDS · SEALS
A shoebox full of old mail, a pile of picture postcards from the attic or a family's correspondence – these are exactly the holdings we are looking for. We buy letters, covers, picture postcards, documents and seals, even without a stamp album.

Alongside stamps, old letters and picture postcards are among our specialities. Every day we sell individual covers and picture postcards, each item described and pictured individually. That is why we know what collectors pay today – a rare town postmark, an unusual postal route or an early view of your home town.
You benefit from this when you sell: we look at the items individually and also recognise what is special in a mixed lot.
Letters and covers
From pre-philately via the old German states and the German Reich to the post-war period – registered mail, insured letters, company letters, field post, Zeppelin and airmail, mail sent abroad.
Old picture postcards
Town views, lithographs, multi-view and thematic cards – used or unused, especially from Ulm, Neu-Ulm and all of southern Germany.
Postal stationery and postal forms
Postcards and envelopes with printed stamps, money orders, parcel cards and other forms.
Documents and seals
Old certificates, receipts and files, seals, seal stamps and vignettes.
How to judge the age and value of a picture postcard yourself is explained in detail in our guide What is an old picture postcard worth? →

Please do not change anything before selling
Send us a few photos by e-mail or WhatsApp – the first assessment is free of charge and without obligation. By arrangement, we take a thorough look at larger holdings at your home, in Ulm, Neu-Ulm and throughout southern Germany. You then receive a clear offer and decide in your own time.
All about buying, the process and home visits →
Is a box of mixed postcards worth it?
Often, yes – among many ordinary cards there are frequently a few sought-after views. We look at every card.
Do you also buy unused picture postcards?
Yes. Cards without stamp and postmark can also be sought after because of their subject.
And modern picture postcards?
Cards from about 1960 onwards we generally do not buy – they were printed in very large numbers, and the franking is usually nothing special by then either.
I only have a few old letters – is that too little?
No. Even a single letter can be sought after. Photos are enough for a first assessment.
